Question: 97 Monte Carlo help? Posted: 24 Aug 2014 03:20 PM PDT
Ok I buy and fix vehicles to sell, but this one has me stumped. It's a 97 Monte Carlo with a 3100 v6 with 47,000 miles. I bought from a friend who got it from some old man. I have been trying to fix it's over heating a lot now I put a thermostat in it and water pump. Then a line bust and I put all new hoses on it too. Well now it over heats fast and it idles great, doesn't spit water, and it takes a while for the water level to go down. It makes a hissing under the throttle body and after twenty miles it over heats. Does anyone know why it's doing this. I need to get it fixed soon so I can sell it. |
Question: 96 ford windstar broken rear lugnut stud? Posted: 24 Aug 2014 03:18 PM PDT 96 ford windstar broken rear lugnut stud? rear drum seized up so removed tire tapped with hammer and sprayed wd40 and it spins again ,but one of the studs snapped off and is stuck inside of the lugnut so is it still safe to drive with 4 lugnuts holding tire on instead of 5 as its the rear tire and am guess its less stress on the rear tire lugnuts then the front tires. |
Question: Will my 2006 vw jetta tdi make it though snow covered roads? Posted: 24 Aug 2014 03:16 PM PDT Will my 2006 vw jetta tdi make it though snow covered roads? I have a 5 speed manual 06 diesel jetta it's front wheel drive and I plan on taking it to the mountain to snowboard but before I look at studded tired and chains does any one know if my car is capable of handling ice or snow on roads around the mountain? |
Posted: 24 Aug 2014 02:48 PM PDT If the money is there; aluminium ones from TnT Customs, PureJeep, or GenRight. You're wssting your money with Bushwackers anf Xenons. Steel ones like XRC's are strong, but very heavy. |
