Question: Train Companies in the US? Posted: 30 Aug 2014 05:23 PM PDT Train Companies in the US? So I'm planning a trip from Connecticut to Louisiana. This is kind of a shot in the dark but does anybody know of any train companies that do transportation from the Mass/CT/NY tristate area to the western louisiana (Shreveport area) or Longview, TX. I've looked into Amtrak but it is very expensive. I have also looked at airway but my company doesn't do well on airplanes. And busses take a long time. Unless there is one that does not. Anyway. I know this was a shot in the dark but does anybody have any suggestions? Much appreciated. Thank you. |

Tram lines may also run between cities and/or towns (for example, interurbans, tram-train), and/or partially grade-separated even in the cities (light rail). SNCF AUX NUITS SONORES DE LYON 2014. Question: Do we still have trains running on the original Transcontinental Railroad? Posted: 28 Aug 2014 10:28 PM PDT No, but the parts of the route still exists. Rails and Sleepers (ties) are replaced as they wear out, but there have been several technological advancements which would cause the entire stretch to be replace, if it was still in use. |
