Question: Different types of Y60 Nissan Patrol (GQ) ? Posted: 25 Aug 2014 10:59 AM PDT Different types of Y60 Nissan Patrol (GQ) ? This question is only aimed at those who know all about the Nissan Patrol. There seems to be varying differences between the different years of the Y60. For example, the car was manufactured from 1987-1997, but not all have the same features. Some have those altimeter and pitch and roll dials above in front where the rear view mirror hangs down from and others don't. Some also have cornering lamps, or vertical rectangular lights on each side of the car just before the front wheel, other don't. Some other differences include things like central locking and electric windows. Are these all features that were added in certain years? Is there a reason why some have these and others don't? |

Question: What is the correct way to park your vehicle on an incline facing downhill? Posted: 25 Aug 2014 10:29 AM PDT It's only an incline if you're facing uphill. It's a decline if you're facing downhill. On a decline, turn the front wheels towards the right/curb ( assuming you're referring to a LHD vehicle ) You want the vehicle to roll into the curb to stop the vehicle if the parking brake does not hold |
Question: Car is grinding...help? Posted: 25 Aug 2014 10:14 AM PDT Car is grinding...help? I have a '03 Pontiac Grand AM and for awhile, whenever I turned left, there would be a grinding noise. I work from home so I don't drive my car often. Just went out to move it, and the grinding noise is awful. It almost sounds like I have a flat tire. Could the axle be broken? Trying to get an estimate on repairs, etc... |
Question: How to swap an engine? Posted: 25 Aug 2014 10:04 AM PDT Easier to sell and buy the Trans am. Swapping will require changing the whole drive line, cooling system, wiring, suspension, etc... Call a shop and ask how much to do the job. The turbo V6 model is a limited edition model which only 1500 has been made. Hard to find one for sale. Edit: Your wife meant well, but hard to buy presents. Just like if you buy your wife a pair of shoe. There is a good chance it's not the style or color she wanted. |
