Cars & Transportation: Commuting: “Question: Toronto subway question?” plus 3 more

Question: Toronto subway question?

I'll alighting at the McGill métro Station located along the University St... if I AM take a bus and it will be The STM's 15 bus line heading west on De Maisonneuve Boulevard and east on Sainte-Catherine Street....

492 parking spaces are available in the Montréal Eaton Centre's underground parking lot. Rate of $18 per weekday (reduced to $7 after 5 pm), $7 on Saturdays and Sundays.

Or the downtown east-west biking path leads directly to the Montréal Eaton Centre on De Maisonneuve Boulevard. The closest north/south biking path is on University Street. Nearby Saint-Urbain Street biking path also connects to the one on De Maisonneuve.

Hmm... Heu, perhaps alight at Queen métro Station located near to Huson bay Queen St...

Well... maybe Streetcar 512 that runs along St Clair Avenue from St Clair métro station on the Yonge line to a streetcar loop just past Keele Street.

Quebec City Écolobus Electric Bus.

Question: Can I conquer my fear of driving on highways?

Can I conquer my fear of driving on highways?

I'm 18 and haven't had a job yet and I haven't gotten my drivers license yet. There's no public transportation and it would take 2 and a half hours to walk to town, then 2 and a half hours back. Nobody likes to drive someone everyday cause its an inconvenience to them. The fastest I am comfortable going right now is 30 MPH but in the highway the speed limit is 70 mph, so I'd probably have to go at least 60 mph. I have to get a job very soon or I might get kicked out. It'll be A LOT easier if I can drive because I don't have anyone to rely on everyday to take me and pick me up. Can I conquer this fear and get my drivers license before the year is over? I would be fine with a cheap piece of junk as long as it runs, I would get a ride to and from work for a short time to allow me to save up. Can I conquer my fear of driving on the highway where the speed limit is 70 mph? This fear has seriously affected my life in a very negative way. I need it to change VERY fast.

Question: Should I move out of Texas for good public transportation?

Should I move out of Texas for good public transportation?

I'm 18 and terrified of driving on a highway, but everything is so spread out in Texas. I hate how everyone around me thinks exactly the same, they're all so close minded. Everyone worships driving and owning a car, even teens, cause there's no public transportation in pretty much anywhere. The thought of having go drive everyday is so overwhelming. And also it almost NEVER snows here, and its WAY too hot over 95% of the year.
