| Posted: 20 Aug 2014 02:10 PM PDT It's not as easy as Shih Tzu makes out, it's a bit of a trick question. To AVERAGE 60 mile/hr over 2 miles means you take 2 miles/60 mile/hr = 0.03333333.. hr To go 1 mile at 30 mile/hr takes 0.0333333.. hr so you have 0 time left for the second mile. No matter how fast you go for the second mile, you can't make average trip at 60 mile/hr. |
