Question: How to get the best quality bass in my car?

How to get the best quality bass in my car?

What exactly should I buy to produce the best sounding bass possible in my car? Obviously I know a sub, an enclosure, and a mono amp are necessary, but what else should I expect to buy? Are equalizers/processors necessary? And crossovers and line drivers? I'm not too sure what exactly I will need to buy.

Question: Car amp watt help please (10 Points)?

Be VERY careful with what ratings you consider with audio equipment.

Ignore everything except RMS power ratings - and stay away from any equipment that does not have these in it's specification.

eg. On those speakers, the RMS power rating is 30W - that's what they can stand to run at continuously.
300W is how much they can stand for a single click or thump occasionally without melting...

If the amp is 450W RMS, it will rapidly destroy the speakers.

Peak ratings are basically what the makers or advertising department dream up to look good and have little relationship to true power ratings or capability. I have a pair of old PC speakers that claim to be 100W rating, but only take 2.5 watts from the wall socket.. They are really less than 1W RMS each.

Amp not working at high volume?

So I have a kicker cx 600 and a Rockford fosgate P3D4 12 inch and my amp does 600 rms and that's what my sub does and so my amp was working fine for a while but then just recently when I listen to it around the max volume I will listen to it at it is stopping and will play certain bass but it's barely any, and when it does that the red light goes on and when it doesn't stop the bass the red light is like flashing to the bass. I checked the power wire 12v btw and the ground I even changed and I checked the wiring in the subwoofer and re did it and still the same thing. I turned down my gain and it didn't do it and when I turn it up even halfway it does it and I used ac volts to set my gain

Soooooo...............

find out why!

>>>EDIT<<<

I see by the TD you didn't like my answer, but even with your "update" you have not given enough information for anyone to give you an answer better than "Find out why!"

Use a test light and find where the power drop is!
