| Question: What do I do about plates when I buy a used car? Posted: 08 Sep 2014 09:00 PM PDT Each state has different rules and requirements. Without knowing the state, it is impossible to give you an accurate answer. In some states you can drive the vehicle home as long as you have proof of insurance and the bill of sale, in other states you cannot drive without tags at all, no matter what. | Question: Should i buy a Lamborghini? Posted: 08 Sep 2014 07:19 PM PDT No. Maybe when/if you have enough money that you've already bought a house, have a regular car, have all your debt cleared, have a sizable savings and investment portfolio and the cost of buying and owning one is a pittance, but not until then. As much as I love driving and like cars getting an exotic like that just doesn't make sense unless the cost is a small fraction of your net worth. Even those who regularly race their cars tend to avoid exotics. But what do I know? My income and savings is significantly higher, and I went and bought a Mazda, even after test driving several higher-priced luxury and sports cars. |
