It would be good if you'd look beyond those meaningless peak/max power "ratings". They have no electrical meaning. Those numbers are only meant to look impressive on a sales sheet. Your "300w" speakers are probably around 60w rms each and your 6x9's are 70-90w rms each. |

I plan on getting: SUBS: 2 15" massive audio hippos (2000 RMS each). AMP option 1: AMP option 2: I will be wiring down to 1 ohm on each sub. And for my door speakers I'm going to get: 1 Hifonics X800.4 My question is what of the two subwoofer anps should I get? And what electrical upgrades will I need for the set up. I already figure I'll need a big 3 but will I need to upgrade my alternator, get additional batteries, etc. Thank you for all the help in advace. |
