Question: Information on hiring with small railroads in Arizona?

Arizona Eastern and and Arizona and California are both owned by the geenese and wyoming, so any job postings for either railroad will appear on their website. Copper Basin is owned by the mine they run in but do not have a job board, you have to send your resume in. Arizona Central has no website you can apply at without going in person. The grand canyon railway is thetrain.com but I would not recommend working for them. The company is horrible, and pay very little.

I used to work for railroads in Arizona, though now currently working in texas.

Question: If they don't put new trains on the bakerloo line by 2017 will they be breaking the law?

They don't need a whole new train to make space for wheelchairs. They really just need to replace one car/carriage/coach per train. The U.S. has railroad stations where ramp configurations that make only one door of each train accessible for wheelchairs (all the other doors have steps) and things work fine. On the train, all the wheelchair passengers sit together near that door. It's kind of tricky for the railroad's employees, because they have to be careful to line up the same door to the ramp at every station, but it works.

I have been looking for a job as a conductor. I applied to CSX, Norfolk, Amtrak for about a year or so and never got invited for a interview. I'm inexperienced in that field. Will a program like TCU/IAM Job Corps help me get a job?
