Question: Can't fit Beats by Dre wire into my Otterbox Defender case.?

Posted: 02 Sep 2014 06:39 AM PDT

I just got an Otterbox defender case for my iPhone 5, I also have a pair of Beats by Dre Studio headphones. My problem is that the wire for my beats doesn't fit into my iPhone because of the case it's the L shaped wire from beats that does not fit. Is there anyway around this? ny way to get the headphones to fit or maybe an extension?

Thanks in advanced

Why wont my head unit/radio turn on?

so last week i was driving to work, listening to my music in my dodge dakota, then i accidentally hit the release button, to wear the front plate pops out, i push it back in, then after that, it wouldn't turn back on.. well the problem is, is Ive tried everything, from clicking the little reset button under the head plate, i turned the truck on and off, checked the wires, checked the fuses, checked the one in back of the radio too, and I even plugged in my old Sony radio, and that didnt turn on either! I dont know what to do! Ive tried everything i can think of! any suggestions on what the problem may be? also, no lights on the radio comes on, and none of the speakers work...the radios just dead...

You don't have to bypass the amplifier to replace the head unit; if you just wire it in normally the factory amplifier will still work. You don't really have to bypass the amp to replace the speakers either (and you'll definitely have to replace the speakers--I've yet to see one of these trucks with stock speakers in good shape). If you do want to bypass the factory amp, you'll need to go to the amp location in the passenger kick panel, unplug the amplifier, and wire the inputs to the outputs. Then the stock amp will be out of the system and the speakers will be connected directly to the head unit.

Question: Is there any way to add different wattage speakers to the same amp ? I have two 25 watt and two 15 watt.?

so with the 25 watts I get 50 and it I add the 15 watt into the mix I think they will all be 15 watts thus making 60 watts which isn't much of an improvement. Is there any way to get 80 watts?
There is a bass boost port

Question: Why does my amp keep going into protective mode?

This is what happens when people try to do things that they do not understand.

Quit turning the level input settings higher than 4. Setting will generally be between 2-1/2 and 3. This is just a way to get you near the 'ball park' of the right setting. There are step-by-step things you need to do to properly set a high power audio set-u. That is why there are professionals, otherwise they would not have a job.
