My son is about to turn 18 and is about to get his license. And a buddy of mine wants to sell me this car to give to my son. And I was wondering if this was a good first car. Is it reliable and good on gas? And also is it a fast car? The car looks nice and in good condition but I'm also wondering if the car is meant for boys or girls? Could really use some help! Thanks in advance. |

Posted: 01 Sep 2014 03:32 PM PDT You probably screwed up the Mass Air Sensor while installing the "cold air intake". Now your fuel/air mixture is screwed up, and the engine doesn't know how much air it's getting. |
Question: How to install Amp power wire to 2003 Dodge Stratus SE? Posted: 01 Sep 2014 03:27 PM PDT How to install Amp power wire to 2003 Dodge Stratus SE? I got a 2003 Dodge Stratus SE and the battery is in the drivers side wheel well. There are positive and negative posts for jumping the battery near the fuse box under neath the hood. If I take off the negative and then the positive leads , and put my 4gauge wire O connector to the lead, will I still get power for my amp, and most importantly, will I get electrocuted. I really dont want to take off my wheel and take off the assembly to get to the battery in the wheel well. Plus , I cant find answers if my Kicker 11ZX7005 / ZX700.5 / will handle the power given out by the alternator in this vehicle. Thank you |
Posted: 01 Sep 2014 03:21 PM PDT just bought a 97 Z71 silverado with a 383 stroker only 150 miles on it, test drove it and it had some pinging on acceleration but it had been sitting for a year with bad gas. Still took to mechanic to get checked out and said it did have bad gas plus needed to be timed correctly and said i should be able to make it home (hour and a half) with out changing the timing I didn't think that was right.. if hes wrong and it would do something destructive to my engine how can I estimate how much to retard my timing without timing light.. can i go to advance auto in the town where the mechanics at and have them help me? |
