Where can I purchase a heavy duty hardened steel chain that I can use to lock around a motorcycle to anchor it?

I want to buy a very big and tough chain 16-19mm that will help reduce the risk of my motorcycle being stolen. I would like to check on out locally(live in Florida) but I dont know what stores carry these. Online it seems most of these company's are in England and if I can get a chain that doesnt have to be shipped half way around the world that would be nice. Also what is better mini U locks(NYC lock) or a big padlock(squire,abloy) would work better. Thanks

Question: A question about reducing motorcycle max power to 25kw!?

A question about reducing motorcycle max power to 25kw!?

Okay so where I come from beginner bikers are not allowed to drive bikes that have more than 25 kw max power. So what we have to do is buy any bike that we want and have it reduced to 25 kw and then after 2 years we can have it restored to it's original power. My questions are as followed;
1. Can all bikes be reduced to 25kw or not?
2. Consider 2 bikes one has a 1100 cc cylinder and 100 kw max power and the other has 800 cylinder and 40 kw max power. If both bikes have the same specs (except ones that I mentioned) and both bikes get reduced to 25kw, wouod they preform the same despite difference in cylinder?

Question: Should i start with the motorcycle my parents bought me?

they BOUGHT you a brand new 848? that's tough to believe unless you're swimming in money.. so.. on that note. you have a new 848. and obviously plenty of money. so shell out a thousand bucks to get a used 250. and ride it until you know what you're doing. take it easy for atleast a few months before slowly progressing into the 848. I don't recommend starting on it.

Started on a 250, upgraded to a gsxr 600, which still seemed like a HUGE jump even with 2 years on the 250

Question: Clutch problem?

Kawasaki dirt bikes start KX, RMs are Suzuki.

It could be the clutch, have you checked the adjustment? Did it suddenly start happening or was it gradual?

Is there a sidestand switch (unlikely)?

Do you have the revs up?
