Question: Should I buy a motorcycle?

Should I buy a motorcycle?

I just got a new job and have a lot of extra spending money and it wouldn't really put a dent in my wallet to buy one. I'm thinking of getting a kawasaki Vulcan or something with a classic look and plenty of power. My only concern is the danger other drivers present to me when I'm riding. I'm a very safe driver and in the four years I've been driving and I've never came close to being in a accident because I go out of my way to not make dumb mistakes and avoid people on the road that can potentially cause a collision. Getting a motorcycle is something I've wanted to do for years but my parents and friends constantly fill me with paranoia telling me that I'll definitely die if I rode a motorcycle.

New master cylinder k6 gsxr 600?

I'm going to get the new master cylinder that had a recall for the bike I just bought, and I noticed the brakes kinda suck as it stands, they're about the same as my 250. so I was wondering when I get the new MC if it'd improve the overall braking performance, and how much if so?

Question: I'm 49yrs old getting a sports touring bike. I like the hayabusa and the zx14 I sat on both I'm asking hayabusa riders and busa riders?

If you are no speed demon, why spend double for a bike that will do almost 3 times the speed limit on the freeway and has all the uncomforts of a sports bike with no cargo capacity of a touring bike?

Why not get a decent touring bike that is comfortable, can haul more than an adjustable wrench, and still can do double the speed limit, aka Yamaha FJ?

Question: Opinions on the new Kawasaki H2R?

You're looking at Bugatti Veyron of the motorcycling world, lad. 300BHP, 125+ft-lbs, 210+MPH Top Speed... Exactly, what every squid needs!
Just so you know, I ride a Speed Triple. Makes 'JUST' 125BHP, and about 80ft-lbs of torque at around 9,000rpm but even that SLOW bike feels REALLY snatchy sometimes! Its an OVERKILL for streets! I can't even imagine the rideablity of H2 in streets...
H2R is clearly made to reclaim the crown of World's Fastest Production Bike. But its rather lame and childish effort from their end... Look at Yamaha FZ9. Or even better, Look at Ducati Scrambler with a Throaty 800cc L-Twin... Now, thats one REAL bike, for the REAL world, at a REAL price...
I think Suzuki Recursion parallel 'Twin Turbo' concept is way more practical than this useless H2R FREAK. Recursion concept Makes 100BHP and 70ft-lbs at 4,500rpms. Will probably return 70+ mpg.
Torque of an R1.
BHP of a CBR600RR.
Power curve of a cruiser.
MPG of a 250cc.
Whats not to like...
Come on Suzuki, bring out the Turbo...! I'm begging you. So are others... Whats keeping you from putting it into production?
