Question: What type of locomotive is usually assigned to coal drags? Posted: 06 Oct 2014 05:53 PM PDT What type of locomotive is usually assigned to coal drags? I see a lot of ac4400 one them and there is usually an ac6000. Are those the two standards. I live in Charleston WV so I see the CSX ones. But I like Union Pacific so am preferably wondering about them. Thanks!
Question: Union Pacific with a single passenger car? Posted: 06 Oct 2014 10:33 AM PDT Union Pacific with a single passenger car? So, I was driving down FM 249 in Tomball, TX today, when I saw something that kind of puzzled me. It was a Union Pacific locomotive heading north, and the only thing coupled to it was a single passenger car, which, I am guessing due to the gold color, was also Union Pacific. I didn't even know UP did passenger service still, let alone carrying a single car?
Question: Do Italian train tickets purchased online need to be validated at the station? Posted: 06 Oct 2014 10:31 AM PDT Do Italian train tickets purchased online need to be validated at the station? I bought a train ticket from Termini station in Rome to Siena. After I put my booking number in the ticket machine, do I need to validate the ticket or am I good to go? Thanks
