Question: Tiny tracking system that can be help you monitor a bicycle using an internet browser?

Update : I am wondering if I could buy a tiny transmitter (that doesnt need charging or has a really long life time without charging) and using an application monitor where an object is (a bicycle in this case).

I cant find any good anti-theft systems that would be both cheap and effective.

Two vehicles are crossing a bridge 30m long. A passenger van weiging 11,000N is....?

...7m from one end. A truck weighing 42,000N is 9m from the other end. If the bridge is symmetrical and weighs 1.3MN, what are the reactions on the two supports at the ends of the bridge?

Question: How to get better at changing lanes?

Posted: 12 Oct 2014 12:55 AM PDT

Look to the side that you are changing to, then look in the the front rear view and side view mirrors. You shouldn't need to look in both mirrors and to the side for more then 1 second. Changing lanes is pretty easy if you can get your mirrors adjusted correctly. Make sure you have your mirrors adjusted correctly before you get rolling. The side mirrors should be adjusted so you can see a tinny bit of the car you are in and mostly the road next to you and straight back. . When you have plenty of room next to you move over. If a car is too close or getting too close, wait till it is safe. Wait til they move away or put your signal on. When to put the turn signal on is up to you. But since you will be with a driving instructor, it might be wiser to put the signal on after the lane next to you is safe. This should be in your local driving handbook. The turn signals are there to let the drivers behind you know of your intentions. You want to move over when the cars in the other lane have made space for you

The one giving the test will ask you to perform tasks or driving maneuvers. Hopefully on quite streets. Follow the instructors instructions, try to stay away from other cars as much as possible. Stay calm. Perform the tasks when YOU you are ready and feel it is safe. It is not a test of time. If the instructor is a chatter box, this may not work for you. The instructor should be totally calm. They are only there to give instructions and grade your ability. Stay focused and you will do just fine.Good luck!!

Question: Am I the only one who thinks Carmel California is cramped?

Am I the only one who thinks Carmel California is cramped?

I just got in town. And with all the parallel parking it makes getting around a pain because in order to see past the parked cars you have to pull out into the street. But then all he'll breaks loose. No parking lots? Seems like a new town built right on top of the old one with no thought or planning. Just my first impression.
