Question: Do the private jets for the super rich have ejector seats for an emergency?

nope, because most rich people are reasonable in understanding the aviation is safest mode of transport, that airframe would need severe design changes to allow for ejection, and that an ejection seat is NOT exacly big sof cushioned sofa.

Question: Reduction in total effective lift occurs when an aircraft is what?

Posted: 11 Oct 2014 08:00 PM PDT

Effective lift is equal to weight in all phases of flight - unless the wing is stalled.

A note to Mark: reducing engine power does not reduce lift! A plane in a deadstick glide still has lift equal to it's weight, unless it slows to the point where it reaches the critical angle of attack and stalls.

Question: Is 35 too old to be a Pilot for Iberia?

Are you a pilot now...?
Are you Spanish or EU citizen or with permanent EU resident/work permit...?
Do you hold JAR-ATPL, some 2,000 to 3,000 hours TT and speak Spanish...?

If not, you are either too old or do not meet the basic requirements -

Question: How much pressure does it take to crush a jumbo jet?

Posted: 11 Oct 2014 10:57 AM PDT

Air pressure DECREASES as an airplane climbs in altitude, therefore there would NEVER be enough air pressure to "crush" a jumbo jet. You would need to be under water, or use some sort of mechanical device to crush the hull of ANY airplane.
