Question: Whenever its below 50 degrees F my car stereo turns on but no sound comes. what is wrong? Posted: 12 Oct 2014 06:54 AM PDT
Update : Whenever its below 50 degrees F my car stereo turns on but no sound comes on even after i have been driving for an hour but if its warmer it sometimes works. and when it does work all my speakers sound normal. I looked around back by the trunk speakers (they have had a problem in the past) and the wire for those are not even close to any metal that would short it out. Also the receiver was made in 2001and is a stock Pontiac sun fire receiver. My rear trunk speakers are upgraded but still fit |
Posted: 12 Oct 2014 06:39 AM PDT I have two 12 inch kenwood subs, 1600 watt pioneer amp, and above average pioneer deck. Nice RC cables, amp wire, and standard speaker wire? When I drive my car it seems if I hit a bump my subs will cut out, but when I turn them to a high volume they will come back and hit just fine. But then they will cut out again. When I wiggle the cables going from my deck to my amp my subs will also cut in and out. Anybody have any ideas what this could be? Possibly the price to fix it as well. Thanks! |

Posted: 12 Oct 2014 05:28 AM PDT My right stereo speaker broke. How do I disable stereo sound in Win 7 and set mono sound to my still-functioning left speaker? There is no subwoofer, just 2 cheap generic 20$ PC speakers. |

Question: Amps tweeters and speakers wireing? Posted: 12 Oct 2014 03:23 AM PDT Hi I installed in my 2012 Nissan altima a pioneer media reciver has three pre outs. Swamped my stock speakers front door 6.5 and rear deck speakers 6x9. Running on a razer 2500d 5 channel amp by power aqustic. The amp says shoots 100 rms on 4ohms for 4 channels and the 5th offers at 2 ohms 600rms or 4 ohms 300rms. My questions is I want to change the tweeters on my dash found the same pro series tweeters as my door speakers to wire the new tweeters should I wire them parallel or sequential to my front door speakers or do I need to get a separate amp. I was thinking what is the best way to do this. Each speaker handles 110rms. The tweeters do also handle 100rms. My amp can handle 2 and 4 ohms. I hope I explained myself. Here is the link to the speakers http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/Speakers/PRO+Series I got the 6.5 for the front and 6x9 for the rear and I want to order the 3.5 tweeters. Using this amp http://poweracoustik.com/store/products/amplifiers/razor/rz5-2100d.html Any advice would be great. |
