Question: Motorcycle clutch problem?

motorcycle clutch problem?

I have a hyosung 2003 gv250. It worked fine until I blew up my battery and I assume more when I jumped it with a car (dumb). So my bike starts up perfect every time now. I can rev it and it stays up but once I go into gear it starts to die letting go of clutch. While holding in the clutch slightly it runs and sounds perfect(of course not fast enough). When I start to let go I can give it as much fuel as possible and almost nothing happens but almost die to a stall. Please help. Replaced battery already and that's the case of it starting again. I did buy new spark plugs but didn't install. I assume that's not the reason

Question: What happens if antifreeze is put in the oil?

Posted: 11 Oct 2014 04:14 PM PDT

It depends on how much you put in.
Anti freeze is also a lubricant.
If you accidentally put a 1/4 of a cup or less in , don't worry. Just get the oil & filter changed as soon as you can.
If you put a couple of cups or more then DON"T start it AT ALL

Once you start the engine with too much of it , it will fill the lubrication system with antifreeze,.
The oil pump will suck it up & pump it into the vital engine parts, while forcing the oil out .
The two will mix together
The antifreeze will take the place of the oil as it is pumped throughout the engine, and into the bearings.
.
You will need to change the oil at least a few times to get all of it out.

Question: Car randomly shutting off?!?!! 2000 Honda Accord! I just changed the distributor what else can be the problem?

the ICM? I thought the ICM is inside the distributor anyway
I bought a brand new distributor and it was installed

WHAT ELSE CAN BE CAUSING THIS CAR TO RANDOMLY SHUT OFF ON ME? AND IT IS A WELL KNOWN ISSUE FOR THIS CAR.

I'M GETTING SICK OF IT.

Question: Can I paint my front bumper myself with car paint from the auto parts store?

Posted: 11 Oct 2014 03:57 PM PDT

There are two ways to repair a damaged bumper like that . . . I know because it happened to me: a little bash and crinkle in the corner of the bumper. The car dealer wanted $3500 just for the part, then charge to remove old bumper, paint new bumper and install it.

I found a small independent shop took the old bumper off and spent several days working it back into shape, repairing a crack, repainting it. I thought the $1100 they charged was a real bargain compared to replacing with a new bumper, especially since their method was very labor intensive.

Don't know why you stopped the shop from finishing your job - - they've already done most of the work. Note: to properly paint the front bumper to match rest of car, they have to have a paint shop computer-match to rest of car (which allows or aging of the paint) then mix special bumper paint (NOT the same as that used on the metal body panels), prime the bumper, & paint it.

BUT you can't put barn paint on with a brick if you want . . . it'll just look like heck and destroy the value of the car.

Question: I turn the key and either it starts or I get nothing. Turn it off and back on it goes errr then nothing. Again and it tries. again it goes?

I guess I need to know what to replace. The Relay seems to work good, have brand battery w/950 cranking amps warm 800 cold, Have used stater but that works when the relay or solenoid do. Wiring? '94 Concorde 3.3L

Question: My car makes a quick groaning/grinding noise when I accelerate. What could it be?

My car makes a quick groaning/grinding noise when I accelerate. What could it be?

I have a 2005 Acura RSX Base Automatic and just recently, I've notice that when I start to accelerate barley, I feel and hear a slight groaning/grinding noise for a good 3 seconds then it stops. It only happens when I just start my car or when I'm taking off at a complete stop. What could it be? I know I need new brakes. Would that cause the noise? Please help
