Question: Should I get a stick shift for my first car? Posted: 15 Aug 2014 10:44 AM PDT Should I get a stick shift for my first car? I know how to drive one, I've been driving it for a few months now. I don't kill it entering first gear. The only reason I don't know if I should is because sometimes I will have to be in downtown where there's heavy traffic. Also if I park on the side of the road and when I get back, it ends up that a car parked behind me so I would basically have to get out of a parallel park. Thanks -Matt
Question: Question about rims and tires? Posted: 15 Aug 2014 09:51 AM PDT Question about rims and tires? The stock rims on my 2004 Grand Prix are 16's. Im looking to buy these rims off craigslist. Their 16's as well. Just a normal set of aftermarket rims. I was told that since their both 16's that i can take my tires off my stock rims and put them on these aftermarket ones. Is that true? Will they fit for sure? What should i watch out for? Thanks
Question: Question about gasoline? Posted: 15 Aug 2014 09:49 AM PDT Gasoline contains light components that make starting easier, and they evaporate during storage. By six months old, they are mostly gone and it gets harder and harder to get your vehicle to start, especially in cold or damp conditions. I recommend you get yourself a diesel vehicle and store diesel instead. Note that in the case where civilization collapses, ammunition, particularly rifle ammo, will become money. So lay in a big supply, and get yourself the tools and supplies and some practice to be able to reload your own ammo - rifle ammo, revolver ammo, and shotgun shells.
