Update : I looked at a force 5 sailboat I am thinking of buying (similar construction to other fiberglass dinghies like lasers) and it has a small crack in the gelcoat of the hull just under where it meets the deck, going all the way around the boat. Is this a problem or is it just cosmetic?

I bought a '95 seadoo spx , and want to swap out the hood with one that has gauges and mirrors. The xp models have hoods with mirrors /gauges. Will they fit on the spx?
