Question: Which gas is Premium fuel?

93 Octane is Premium in TX. Chevron/Texaco is about the best big name gas.

Camshaft design/manufacture, full competition race engine bldg/dvlpmnt, internal component failure analysis, Carb blueprinting, drivability/MPG/durability expert, chem analysis of fuel, super-tuner. I'll help/advise you, make/sell you cams. I WON't pick a competitors cam for you or share cam specs upfront with shoppers, so don't ask. I get MANY emails from Y.A. A few buyers from here, even. I'll GLADLY answer a private email or two, but please don't slam me with endless emails/questions.

Turn signal fuse keeps blowing on an '83 trans am?

Every time i turn my car on, my turn signal (20A) fuse keeps blowing. Most of the time i can put a fuse in while it is running and my turn signals work fine until i shut the car off and turn it back on. I have looked and looked for a short somewhere but i can't find anything. Could it be my switch that's making it blow? The car is a 1983 pontiac firebird trans am third gen

Question: Misleading titles?

You call yourself a car spotter but you go to the dealership and post pictures of what you see…

As you can see I am upset, this guy I know claims he spots cars but, he mostly goes to dealerships and takes pictures there. I take pictures of what I see on the road instead of walking into a exotics dealership and call myself car spotting

Question: What are the little three wheeled cars in England called? And why only 3 wheels?

Posted: 16 Aug 2014 09:57 AM PDT

I have just crossed-paths with a guy I worked with years ago, who STILL drives only Reliant Robins, which are all that he has ever had, since first driving one in 1974. To me, they are an unmitigated pile of poo. He says "I can drive it on my motorcycle licence" - well, whoop-de-doo for you, Sir, but you still have the WORST 'car' ever produced, though I can't even call it a car.
Way back in the 1930's, Morgan used to produce three wheelers, which have two front wheels and a motorcycle engine running the rear wheel - this is a MUCH more stable arrangement, but you can't beat FOUR WHEELS on the ground. The guy also has a rough-terrain telescopic-handler licence - so it would be very easy for him to go and take - at the very least - the 'automatic-only' car Driving Test - there is even a centre just across the road from where we are working! It's just laziness, and being stuck in his ways that keeps him in THE worst turd on the road, by a long way.
Many years back, I was hitching a lift after dropping a car off for it's annual MOT test. A guy gave me a lift in a Reliant Robin. It was terrifying, and not helped by a rocketing temperature gauge as we lurched up a hill, and the fact that IT CAUGHT FIRE UNDER THE BONNET. He pulled over and splashed water over it to put it out, and said "ohh it does this lately". Anyway, a few months later I was in my modified Opel Ascona saloon (sedan to you in the USA) when HE was hitching a lift. I pulled over and he got in, and said "ohh, these have only got old Cavalier engines in them, haven't they?" - this annoyed me, so I laid rubber, and made my way home (we lived in the same village) at 115mph - I slowed down to take the newly-banked bend by The Star tavern at 80mph. He was shaking when I let him out, but I felt I had got my revenge on him! The last thing I said to him was "not bad, for an old Cavalier engine, eh?".

Question: What's a good starter car?

What's a good starter car?

I am turning 18 soon, and one of the main things I'm saving up for is a car,
My budget just for the car is around £1,000-£1,500
(I know insurance can be much more but just interested in what type/model of car would be affordable and practical. Thanks :)

Question: What 5 or 6 speed manual transmission could I use behind a 429 Cobra jet I'm installing in a 69 fastback?

mustang or torino? wish there was an uploaded pic,
want big block race car parts with a six speed huh?
Wow, try hotrod and car craft for an issue with tests and writeups.
I saw one of each of those in my whole lifetime, and they were at a street meet in tacoma. they were keeping them all stock because that was the point of investing, right
