| Question: I recently got into an accident How much will my insurance go up? Posted: 16 Aug 2014 09:15 AM PDT What state are you in? What company holds the insurance? Why are your parents paying and not you? If there is a police report and or an insurance claim, too late to settle up with the other guy. The only entity that can answer this is your insurance company. You will have to bite the bullet and ask them. They may already know if the guy you hit filed a claim with his company. |
| Question: I'm uninsured and was in a car accident, not at fault? Posted: 16 Aug 2014 09:07 AM PDT I'm uninsured and was in a car accident, not at fault? I was driving home from work in a residential area. I'm also 11 weeks pregnant. As I was driving this car just pulled out of the road, it was too late because the driver already hit me. I believe he either didn't look at his blind spot or thought he could pass before I came. The police arrived and took their report. I gave a statement but it was short because I think they wanted me to go to the hospital right away to check the baby. I took a few pictures. I know it was a bad idea to drive uninsured. The car is in my boyfriends name. I do not need a lecture about how bad it was To be uninsured. Also I'm in California. Any advice? |

| Question: What's the cheapest car insurance in ny? Posted: 16 Aug 2014 07:45 AM PDT Like everywhere else it varies greatly on the driver and the amount of insurance required.. So call around one company may be less expensive than others for the same insurance I doubt anyone here can tell you the exact company. Start with the big ones Geico, state farm, allstate, farmers.. Then work on down to the bottom end ones word of warning though the cheap insurance is just about garbage and you will have to fight and argue for every little thing and they offer VERY little assistance and perks along with the insurance.. So if you have Joe blow insurance and something happens where you need it you could be fighting them for MONTHS to get anything done.. |
| Question: How do i find out the cost, from all 50 states, for license plate renewals? Posted: 16 Aug 2014 06:50 AM PDT The answer Richard gave is the only way and correct except---- In my state, it only costs $20.00 to re-new a license plate for most cars! It's kind of a convoluted and dumb policy, but about 3 years ago Georgia decide to change fro ad valorem tax to a straight sales tax. Cars bought AFTER the law you pay sales tax once (which is high as a kite! saw a guy who just bought a new truck pay almost $3500.00 in taxes!). After that you only re-new the tag. I have one car that I paid sales tax on, and still have 4 registered that I pay ad valorem on each year. One is only around 8 dollars! but I have the option of paying sales tax on those and eliminating the tax altogether afterwards! I'll bet by the time you search all 50 states (and territories) there will have been some changes made! Anyway to create a "back door tax" and these government agencies will find them! |
| Question: Is this insurance fraud? Posted: 16 Aug 2014 06:37 AM PDT
I had a bottle of vodka and then went out on my BMW for more. I scratched the bumper and the fender got bent on one of those concrete blocks they have at parking lots. I went home and soberd. Reported the accident and they paid 4500$ |
