Question: Are Hyundais good reliable cars? Posted: 13 Aug 2014 10:27 AM PDT I have a 2012 Veloster - same engine as the accent. Bought new - 39K miles, no problems so far. That said - 14K seems a bit steep given the relatively high miles. The GLS is the base model and they start at 14.6K - add a grand for the automatic, but you can negotiate below that - you are paying almost new car money for a car that's nearly 3 years old and has 35K miles. According to AAA you can buy a brand new manual GLS for just over 14K and 15K with the auto. Good car, but not a good deal, you'd be better off with a new one. |
Question: How do I get the smell of old iced tea out of my car? Posted: 13 Aug 2014 10:20 AM PDT Almost 1/3 of a gallon of sweat tea spilled in my back seat. Luckily I had a seat cover on that is for my dog, so it absorbed some of it. However, now my car smells DISGUSTING. Like gross old iced tea... I have leather seats and they're the kind with little holes in it (Acura TL 2006). Any advice? I was going to get it detailed because it's so dirty, so should I just do that? |
Question: Nervous about drivers test today!? Posted: 13 Aug 2014 10:09 AM PDT Nervous about drivers test today!? I'm going in to take my drivers test later today and I'm very nervous. I've had my permit for over 2 years but I haven't really started practicing until recently. I do think I drive pretty good and lately I've been practicing everyday. However, sometimes I feel confident when I drive and other times not so much. I'm worried I'll mess up something and I need to have my license because I start college classes next week and I have to drive myself there. Is there any tips on how to just calm down and relax for this? I've talked to some friends who've gotten their licenses at the same DMV I'll be going to and they said it's really easy and the test takes honestly about 5 minutes half the stuff they do right in the DMV parking lot/area and some on the road next to it. Help? Thanks |
