Question: Questions on how to head check when driving? Posted: 15 Aug 2014 02:04 AM PDT Hi :) When head checking, do I have to look behind me on both my left and right side? Or do I look just in the direction I need too? Like if i want to change from right lane to left lane, i only head check behind my left shoulder? Also what do I look at when I am head checking? Do i just look straight back ? Or do i look straight back and to the side? Thanks!!! Oh and when reversing, do I head check both my left and right side? |

Posted: 14 Aug 2014 09:38 PM PDT If I accidently turn the ignition off while in drive but with the brake on, will it damage my car? I accidentally turned the key off while the car was stopped with the brake but still in drive. I immediately realized what I was doing and turned it on and put it in park. Because it was not moving, will my car be okay? Or could that seriously damage it? |
Question: How long have you been driving for before you drove on the freeway? Posted: 14 Aug 2014 07:00 PM PDT Probably 9 months. I was 16 and had my temps for a long time before I actually went to driving school. My parents refused to teach me anything until I went to driving school. While there I drove a '07 Chevy Cobalt which at the time was my favorite car. My instructor had me drive from Cincinnati OH (where I live) to Columbus OH and back. This was my first time and I was terrified at first. Driving at the high speeds came natural to me I didn't feel as if I were going to lose control or anything. After the fear comes the fun you won't want to take the back roads again unless there heavy traffic. 4 years later I've been taking the highway almost everyday to class, work, or other. Your dad is somewhat about night. If its a week day and you drive there is no traffic just watch your speed because cops like to clock people at night. Weekend nights can be busy until 10 or 11 PM. Also be careful if you go by yourself because when you reach city limits there will be long stretches of total darkness (except your headlights). |
