How do i maintain proper lane position?

I did my first 2 hours of driving yesterday, my instructor was telling me about lane position and trying to stay in one spot. he said it's a good thing I naturally want to stay away from the yellow line, but he says I should stay by it anyway. it was within the last 30 minutes that I was able to somewhat stay in a good spot and stay by the yellow line, but this is all so strange to me.

Question: Do they still leave the back door open on the new bus for London?

Posted: 13 Aug 2014 08:16 AM PDT

I presume you are talking about the 'Boris Buses'?

The rear doors are left open whilst travelling through the central London area, just like the older buses in London and other cities. Depending upon the route, the doors are operated normally outside the central area

The photograph shows one of these buses at Islington - the conductor can be seen standing on the open rear platform, and the front and centre doors are closed
