Posted: 13 Aug 2014 08:18 PM PDT Bring it to a locksmith. I had a similar issue a few years ago. I brought the bike into the guy, and he made me a key for it. I don't remember what it cost, but it was cheap enough that I didn't give it a second though. I think he wanted to see my license and a title, but that was about it. |
Question: How often should change oil in my dirt bike if i ride alot? Posted: 13 Aug 2014 08:04 PM PDT If your dirt bike engine has a oil hole you can check how low, or how sludged your oil is. I would imagine your bike uses SAE 10W-40 and that oil is a dark, see through brownish. Check and change your oil every 1/2 - 1 month. And if your oil is a blackish color. It's time to change. |
Question: Should I move up to a 600cc sport bike? Posted: 13 Aug 2014 07:39 PM PDT It's honestly not the best bike to leap into, but it's probably the most common "starter" bike for young guys. They're cheap, and available everywhere you look. Just remember that it isn't a toy. It's a serious motorcycle that will bite you hard if abused. They are soft off the bottom, but they build horsepower at an insane rate as you get into the revs. If you pretend that it has a 5,000 RPM redline for a while, you will be fine. If you start exploring the limits on the street, you will know the feeling of asphalt on your skin. If you stunt, you will know the depression of seeing broken plastic all over the street and probably the feeling of asphalt too. You want to do yourself the best favor ever? Take a performance riding class or an into to track day class. You will learn more there than nearly anyone you know. Plus, you will save tons of money on medical and repair bills! |

What's the slang for leaving skin behind on the road during a crash that includes the word gravel? I know of Road Rash, but am thinking there is another one. Thanks. |
